Over the past several months the winners have periodically had their winner friends park in our assigned parking spot. We know it's the winners because they have similar Idaho license plates and whenever these parking discrepencies occur all the lights are on in the winner's apartment with the windows open to air things out. Lisa and I have written several notes asking them to please not park there again, but being winners, apparently they can't read.
One such incident occured last Friday night. After celebrating pie night with some friends we came home to find a winner car parked in our spot. I left a note as usual and also spoke loudly in said parking lot about said winner car. I noted that blinds moved in the winner's apartment which led me to believe they heard the conversation.
When I went to the gym the next morning at 9am said car was still parked in said spot, and was still there when I got home after 10. Being thoroughly annoyed I called the towing service for our apartments and made arrangements to have the winner car towed.
The tow truck arrived at 11am, and after verifying that it was indeed our assigned spot, tow truck dude (another winner) proceeded to begin to hook up the car so it could be towed from our
spot:
He proceeded to drag the car from our spot-which was quite an amazing site:
Dude had just gotten the winner car pulled halfway on the ramp when two winners came running out of the winner apartment. Unfortunately my camera was flashing so I was too afraid to get a good shot, but winner #1(who we determined to be the car owner) was actually running out in full beard, no shirt, beer gut hanging over black shorts. Winner #2 was behind him in jeans and a shirt. If you look closely through the slats of our deck and the screen from the window you can see winner #2:
Lisa and I couldn't hear much over the sound of our laughter and the tow truck engine, but Lisa thinks she heard winner #1 saying "those damn girls!". Hence they knew what they were doing. What retards. So needless to say we were scared of retaliation, but we haven't received any. The winners probably can't take a break from their winner-ness to even retaliate, which is fine with me. I just hope they've learned their lesson.
