I've been a concert attendee at your venue for years now. Last week's Kenny Chesney concert was not my first rodeo, nor was it yours. And yet, there are problems that one would think you'd try to fix, and yet year after year, you don't.
The problem I'm referring to is your parking lot. Getting in and getting parked goes rather smoothly. You have plenty of parking attendants to help guide us into our spots. This year we even used the Carpool lot. It was great.
My question is-Why does it take at least 1.5 hours to get out of the lot YEAR AFTER YEAR? Where are all of those helpful attendants after the show is over? Thanks to the long wait we had people were literally peeing outside their cars:
yes, this is real. And it wasn't the only pee-er we saw |
After who knows how long a concert attendee actually got out of his car and started to direct traffic. That helped until his car got through and he stopped. Maybe you can take a clue from him and actually have people out there directing traffic rather than the 2 cops who are monitoring the exits.
You can't see the dude but he was out there and it was fantastic. |
Please look into it.

I so agree. Its a nightmare going in and out of USANA. I have been to two concerts there and the first one I didn't know about the parking and missed both opening acts (Dirks Bentley and Carrie Underwood!) and the second I had to get there like 2 hours early which is also a pain.
I don't know how they can get away with all of that under firecode and it seems to me that it would be easy to build several more entrances to that parking lot. It seriously makes me question going to concerts there. For instance, I was going to see John Mayer and Owl City at USANA but I didn't want to deal with all of that.
Kenny is a great performer though. One of my most memorable concerts ever!
I haven't ever been to a concert at USANA for this very reason. My sister and her husband went and said it was such a nightmare, they will never go to a concert there again. They paid for the tickets to see the concert, but missed the first couple of acts because of parking issues. To top it all off, they had to wait 2 hours to get out. It seems to me if USANA is not willing to fix the problem, then I am not willing to waist money on tickets for a concert I won't be able to see due to the parking mess. I think people who are fed up with this problem should simply refuse to go see concerts there until they fix the mess. Kathryn Murray
My brother actually just sent this blog post to Usana. Hopefully I won't get sued for slander :) But really I hope that they'll think about these issues. I can't imagine we're the only people fed up with it!
And Rachel my cousin missed out on Tim McGraw's opening acts last year d/t the traffic issue. It's a hot mess!
